This fund has been developed in response to patients who have contacted PAF for help with their medication expenses and could not find help. While this fund has been fully designed and we are ready to provide needed support to these patient communities, this fund is not yet able to accept applications for assistance as we are still working to secure charitable donations that will allow us to open it.

About Neoplasm Related Pain
Neoplasm related pain may arise from a tumor compressing or infiltrating tissue; from treatments and diagnostic procedures; or from skin, nerve and other changes caused by a hormone imbalance or immune response. Cancer pain can come from the primary cancer itself — where the cancer started — or from other areas in the body where the cancer has spread (metastases). Along with chronic cancer pain, sometimes people have acute flares of pain when not all pain is controlled by the medication or therapy. The strategy for control of tumor pain involves two tiers: the first tier supplies baseline control and the second tier controls periods of acute pain.
