With clients including National Geographic Society, American Airlines, The J.M. Smucker Company, BASF, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) and others, Diane Mauk has founded and operated two Information Technology companies. The first focused on Oracle-based technologies and most recently, Software Architects, LLC which provides strategic project management and solutions architecture for large scale identity management and health IT systems.
Since 2010, Diane has served on the Board of BrainWaves, an organization focused on raising funds in support of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTC). This multi-center, multi-disciplinary, cooperative organization focuses on the study of correlative tumor biology and new therapies for primary CNS tumors of childhood. In addition to BrainWaves, she serves on psychosocial symposiums for pediatric cancer groups which educate Federal constituents on the need for increased awareness and funding.
Diane and her husband John are avid supporters of St. Coletta’s school in Washington, DC which serves children and adults with intellectual disabilities and supports their families. Her family consists of a loving and supportive husband (John), a daughter, Taylor, and a son, Holden. Holden is a thriving brain tumor survivor after being diagnosed with and treated for a rare Ewing’s PNET tumor in Feb 2009. Diane enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
